Advizorpro Top Independent RIAs

Disclosure: Awarded each March. Based on publicly available data sourced primarily from SEC Form ADV filings. To qualify, firms must: Be registered with the SEC; Operate independently; Serve primarily retail (non-institutional) clients. Advizorpro ranks firms using two key metrics: Assets Under Management (AUM): Total discretionary and non-discretionary assets managed; and Number of Retail Clients: Total individual clients receiving investment advisory services. Selection is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.

Barron’s Top 1500 Financial Advisors

Disclosure: Announced in March annually. The rankings are based on data provided by over 7,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors. Factors included in the rankings: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work.
Advisors who wish to be ranked must first pass a prequalification process aimed at ensuring that those in the mix are experienced and sophisticated advisors. Those who meet the criteria then fill out a survey with more than 100 questions about their practices.
Selection is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.

BizTimes Wisconsin 275

Disclosure: The Wisconsin 275 is a recognition determined through an immense year-long research initiative by the editors of BizTimes Milwaukee. Advertising does not play a role in the selection process. The list is based solely on the editorial team’s research and professional judgment.

Citywire 50 Growers Across America

Disclosure: This list is compiled annually and released in August. Recognition is determined using compiled Form ADV data to calculate an RIAs’ year-over-year AUM growth, percentage of AUM growth and employee headcount growth and combine those three metrics into a single number we call the ‘growth factor.’ Citywire/Invesco uses that number to rank the fastest-growing RIAs in each state and go out and try to talk to them — they don’t come to Citywire/Invesco . There is no submission process, no subjective judgements from a panel, and inclusion in the report is not an endorsement of any firm – it just means that they are a fast-growing firm in their state. Selection is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.

RIA Channel Top Wealth Managers

Disclosure: Awarded each May. All firms are active registered investment advisers (RIAs) with the SEC, and have no regulatory, criminal or administrative violations on file per the SEC as of March 31, 2024. All firms provide wealth management services as their primary business. These services may include financial planning, selection of third party investment managers, portfolio construction services, family office services, comprehensive estate planning, asset allocation services or similar functions to high net worth and/or ultra high net worth individuals. All qualified wealth managers with a two year growth rate of 30% or greater were ranked based assets as reported to the SEC on their Form ADV Part I filing on March 31, 2024. Assets under management growth rates are determined by RIA Database® (RIADatabase.com). Milwaukee Business Journal MKE Power List

Disclosure: The MKE Power Brokers (AKA Power Players) list has been published annually for ten years and is released in February. The selection process is staff-driven, meaning the Business Journal’s editorial team compiles and curates the list rather than relying on public nominations or voting. The Journal does not publish a formal application form, instead choosing based on impact & influence, as well as achievements. There is no fee paid to be considered or to win the award.

Titan 100

Disclosure: The Wisconsin Titan 100 are announced in October each year. The Titan 100 list is formulated every year. Titans must be nominated and selected annually with the pinnacle achievement of being recognized as an elite Hall of Fame honoree in their third year. Nominees must demonstrate specific, tangible contributions to the growth of their companies through high-level leadership and influence in their field.
To be considered for the Titan 100 program, individuals must submit an application, which is available at no cost. The competition for entry into the program is fierce, with hundreds of applications pouring in each year from each market. Following the end of the nomination cycle, the applications undergo a thorough review by an independent judging committee, which is responsible for selecting the honorees. Nominees that wish to be ranked must fill out a survey but do not pay to do so.

USA Today Best Financial Advisory Firms

Disclosure: Awarded each April. The list will be based on the recommendations of clients and peers, along with the growth of assets under management at the firms. Collected via an independent survey among over 30,000 individuals. Both short-term (12-month) and long-term (5-year) AUM development were analyzed. Advisors that wish to be ranked must fill out a survey but do not pay to do so.

Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Top Workplaces

Disclosure: The Top Workplaces list is published annually and released in April or May. Recognition is earned through the simple and credible Energage employee survey – no judges, votes, or pay-to-play tactics. There is no fee paid to be considered or to win the award.
